Jenny Roe

Dr. Jenny Roe is the Director of the Center for Design & Health in the School of Architecture at the University of Virginia. An environmental psychologist and former Principal of Landscape Architecture for an international architectural practice, she writes, lectures, and consults for a wide range of academic and public audiences on human-centered design for the built environment. Dr. Roe has received multiple grants, including support from the National Science Foundation. Her current research focuses on mitigating urban flood risk and health-related benefits in Norfolk City. The study aims to enhance climate change resilience and equity through the community-driven design of green infrastructure.
