Jonathan Goodall

Jonathan Goodall is a water resources engineer dedicated to advancing hydroinformatics, a field that utilizes data and computational science to enhance the comprehension, prediction, and management of water systems. He is Co-Director of UVA's Public Interest Technology University Network, a collaborative initiative promoting cooperation among universities committed to developing public interest technology and nurturing a new generation of civic-minded technologists. Much of his current work is focused on adapting techniques from cyber-physical systems for real-time flood mitigation in coastal urban communities experiencing sea level rise impacts. Professor Goodall also serves as Director of the interdisciplinary Link Lab within UVA's Engineering School.
