Juliet Hatchett leads the Innocence Project Clinic at UVA Law, guiding students as they work to investigate and challenge wrongful convictions in Virginia. Through hands-on casework and classroom study, her students examine the root causes of wrongful convictions and explore state and federal post-conviction remedies. A graduate of UVA Law and former clinic participant, Hatchett previously managed the Virginia Innocence Project Pro Bono Clinic and practiced white-collar criminal defense with Brune Law and Baker McKenzie in New York City.
