Kody Grant

Kody Grant (Isleta Pueblo/EBCI) serves as UVA’s first Tribal Liaison, working to build relationships with local Native Nations and with Indigenous students who want to study at UVA. He helps find new avenues for sustainable partnerships across Grounds and collaborates closely with Tribal communities to model respectful research conducted on Indigenous lands and with Indigenous peoples. Grant also acts as an “information broker,” facilitating communication between various stakeholders both within and outside UVA. He is the central point of contact for faculty, staff, students, and alumni, providing guidance and assistance regarding Tribal affairs.
