Assistant Professor of Music
Professor Dave is an ethnomusicologist, focusing on politics, voice, and rights in the Republic of Guinea (West Africa). Her current project examines responses to sexual violence in Guinea, including co-producing a series of radio stories about Guinean women’s experiences. She also teaches a civic engagement course on music and community in Charlottesville.
