Rupa S. Valdez

Dr. Valdez’s research, teaching, and advocacy seek to improve the lives of individuals living with chronic health conditions. These efforts focus on underserved populations including racial and ethnic minorities, people with disabilities, and those living in under-resourced environments. She engages with local, international, and virtual communities and crosses multiple disciplines including systems engineering, public health, informatics, and cultural anthropology.
